Homeless people will be helped off the streets – as well as treated for their illness and injuries – by doctors and nurses at St George’s Hospital in south west London this winter.

In October 2021, Healthwatch Wandsworth and Superhighways, a digital support charity specialising in working with people who have limited digital skills, offered senior residents in Wandsworth a guided tour of health and care services in the borough.

At the Healthwatch Wandsworth Assembly we talked about health inequalities; we considered practical steps to reduce health inequalities and looked at a flagship project to tackle ethnicity inequalities in mental health.

Healthwatch Wandsworth is guided by our Healthwatch Committee. At our event on 29th September our Healthwatch Wandsworth members will be electing new members to our committee.

Black, Asian, and other minority ethnic people continue to face discrimination and inequality in this country in the field of mental health. Read more about a new project to try and tackle these issues.
