The South West London Health and Care Partnership - One year on

11/12/2017

The NHS, local councils and the voluntary sector in south west London have strengthened their commitment to working together to deliver better care for local people. The renewed focus means that organisations providing health and care in the six south west London boroughs will be working together as one team to keep people healthy and well in Croydon, Sutton, Kingston & Richmond, and Merton & Wandsworth.

Following a year of engaging with stakeholders and local people since the publication of the South West London STP in November 2016, Merton and Wandsworth CCGs have listened to, and taken into account, feedback received and are in the process of refreshing their strategy for health and care in South West London.

As part of their consultation on the refreshed strategy, they have published a discussion document - The South West London Health and Care Partnership: One year on. Both CCGs would welcome feedback from local people on the document, which is not final but is designed to aid discussion with local organisations and stakeholders over the next few months. Local CCGs will continue to work together to develop health care plans that provide clear and detailed actions to tackle local challenges. These plans will be published in June 2018.

If you would like to read the document you can access it here. Please discuss it further within your organisations and share it in your communities so that we can have as much local input as possible into our services. To feed back your views to our local CCG please email swlccgs@swlondon.nhs.uk.
