Improving Communication with Healthcare Professionals - Feedback from our Assembly
At our events we often hear from local people that communication with healthcare professionals could be better, so at our Assembly in September 2018 we discussed with 34 locals and professionals how they could better hear what we need and involve us in decisions.
Good feedback can help resolve problems and improve services; many local organisations are looking at improving how they collect feedback, so we took note of what people thought works well, or not so well.
We plan to pass the feedback gathered to those who design and run local services and have already spoken to the General Medical Council (they asked for feedback about new guidance on doctor/patient relationships). If you would like to find out more about their plans, and have your say, go to the GMC website (their consultation closes on 23rd January 2019).
