Celebrate Volunteers' Week (1-7 June 2019)
Volunteers' Week, which takes place in June every year, is a chance to celebrate our volunteers and say 'thank you' for their fantastic contribution.
On average, here at Healthwatch Wandsworth, we work with around 30 local volunteers from all walks of life. They are an integral part of what we do and we wouldn't achieve much without them. Last year, our volunteers contributed over 2,400 hours (or 100 days, or four months) of their time to our cause, helping people have a voice when it comes to health and social care services.
We can't give much financially to our volunteers but we truly do appreciate the work, the time and the effort they put in to helping us improve services for local people. Their ever-willing spirit and commitment is something special. So to all our volunteers we'd like to say many, many thanks! We're hugely in your debt and hope you'll all continue to support our work.
If you're interested in volunteering with us, check out our volunteering page to see what roles are currently available and how to apply. We're particularly interested in recruiting more Healthwatch Representatives and Enter & View team members.
We look forward to hearing from you!
