Bowel Cancer UK and Beating Bowel Cancer Join to Become the UK’s Leading Bowel Cancer Charity!
Both charities welcome the merger as the best opportunity to achieve a shared vision of a world where no one dies of bowel cancer.
And whilst both organisations have achieved a great deal in the fight against bowel cancer, it remains the UK’s second biggest cancer killer with over 16,000 deaths annually. Together, they are determined to change this and create a strong, confident charity that will drive positive change to save more lives from a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.
The strong relationships they have developed with so many people closely affected by bowel cancer will continue to be an essential ingredient for future success and they are committed to ensuring that the needs and views of people directly affected by bowel cancer remain at the heart of everything they do. They will also continue to work in partnership with the UK’s leading scientists and clinicians to stay well informed and solution focused.
