Flu Vaccine - Let the NHS Help You This Winter

It's that time of year again - the days are getting shorter and the temperature much cooler - and the NHS is encouraging eligible groups to get the flu vaccination before the height of winter sets in.

Eligible groups include pregnant women, children aged 2-3 years old, adults with underlying health conditions, carers and health care professionals. These groups are at particular risk from flu, and vaccination is still the best protection against an unpredictable virus. Only 39.15% of 2-3 year olds in Wandsworth had the flu vaccine last year, whilst the national average was 43.5%.

If you think you may be at risk, you can ask your GP, Pharmacist or midwife for the flu vaccine. It's free because people really need it.
