For better health and social care

In Your Shoes - Your Experience of NHS Care

South West London and St George's NHS mental health trust is about to launch a staff, service user and carer engagement programme - Making Life Better Together - which is designed to increase service user influence and reach out to those who might not usually get to have a say.

They would like to hear about your experiences of care under the Trust, i.e. what made a good day in their care; what made a bad day; and what they can do so that there are more good days in future. Your feedback will be used to improve everything from patient care to staff recruitment.

What’s it like In Your Shoes? From 29 April 2019 they will be holding face-to-face listening sessions with service users and carers. Could you sit down with a member of their staff and tell them about your experience? If so, book your place on one of the ‘In Your Shoes’ session here.

If you're not able to attend the sessions, you can complete their short online survey. They especially want to hear from anyone who is currently in their care, or who has recently been discharged from one of their services.
