NHS Healthy Aging Guide - Available Now!

08/03/2019

Being able to stay healthy in later life is crucial and desirable for all of us. Older people often do not feel supported to look after their own health, especially if they suffer with a long-term condition, which can have a detrimental impact on their overall quality of life.

NHS England in partnership with other organisations, has published a Practical Guide to Healthy Ageing, designed to help people who are getting older to stay physically and mentally well. The Guide provides hints and tips on how to keep fit and stay independent and recognises that, with the right know-how, we can all do things improve our own health and wellbeing.

Free copies of the guide are available to local care and health organisations. If you would like to order some for your organisation, please email england.clinicalpolicy@nhs.net and provide your organisation name, address, contact details and the number of guides you wish to order. There is no limit on numbers ordered, as long as supplies are available.

A pdf copy of the Guide is attached for information.
