News from our Assembly - 27 February 2019
The different levels and layers of mental health support services in our community were the main focus of discussions at our public event held at South Thames College on 27 February.
We heard from Robert Dyer, Commissioner of children and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS); found out how Talk Wandsworth helps people manage lower level mental health problems or can get them on the road to recovery following a crisis. We also saw how the relatively new service, Primary Care Plus, can play a vital role in our mental well-being through our local GP surgery.
If you were unable to attend but would like to tell us about your own experience of mental health services in Wandsworth, please email us - firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include details of the service you used and the particular issue that you faced. We'll make sure that this is fed back to those in charge.
Date and venue of our next event: 22 May at Queen Mary's Hospital; we'll have more information on the agenda nearer the time so please keep checking our website.
