News from our Assembly - 22 May
Our event in May focussed on improvements - improvements to local services, including the Outpatient departments at St George's hospital in Tooting.
Josh Potter, from the South West London Health & Care Partnership, spoke to us about the Health & Care Plan. The Plan outlines how working together with the same aim - to get health, social and community services to link together so that people can more easily access the services they need - can improve health services for everyone.
Rob Game, from St George's NHS Hospital Trust, spoke about planned improvements to outpatient services as mentioned above, following a 'requires improvement' rating at the time of the last CQC inspection.
And we gave a short presentation on the different ways that members of our local community can get involved with our work and have a voice when it comes to changing local services for the better. Our presentations are attached below if you would like to find out more.
There are more events planned throughout the rest of the year, so don't worry if you missed out last time. Our next one will be happening on Thursday 26 September in the Hyde Park room at St George's hospital. More information will be available closer to the time, so be sure to check our website regularly to keep up to date.
We hope to see you there!
