Healthwatch Appointed Governor at St. George’s Hospital


From Spring 2018, Healthwatch Wandsworth will need a new appointed Governor at St. George’s University Hospital Trust.

What does it mean to be a Governor?

The appointed Governor will have two key areas of responsibility:

  1. To carry out the statutory duties of a Governor of the Trust.
  2. To promote the views and interests of Healthwatch Wandsworth within the Trust, and to act as a channel of communication between Healthwatch and the Trust.

The role is voluntary and unpaid, and usually lasts for three years.
