Breast Cancer Screening Information
It was recently revealed that up to 270 women in England may have died prematurely because they did not receive invitations to a final routine breast cancer screening.
The Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt said that since 2009, 450,000 women aged between 68 and 71 failed to receive invitations (read more).
Our hope is that the NHS learn from its mistakes, identifies those affected and moves swiftly to make sure that people screened as and when necessary in future. We are urging anyone who wants to share concerns or experiences of screening (good and bad) to please get in touch with us.
